HalifaxHealth is seeking an RN Resident for Intensive Medical Care to deliver compassionate nursing care using the nursing process, with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care and discharge planning. The program emphasizes professional growth, collaboration with physicians and staff, and adherence to ANA standards and state practice requirements.

Successful candidates have an accredited nursing degree and will obtain their RN license within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• RN license must be obtained in the State of Florida within 90 days of hire.

The Registered Nurse Resident will be responsible for the delivery of care utilizing the nursing process of assessing, collecting and documenting data in order to identify nursing diagnoses. Responsible for establishing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient care and discharge plans. Provides responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by the American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Engages in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines, applies principles of leadership and assumes responsibility for professional growth and accountability.

• No license is required upon initial hire but RN license in the State of Florida must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's degree
