Job summary

Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation of Sequim in Sequim, WA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join as Resident Care Manager RN. This full-time, day-shift position supports the Director of Nursing in supervising and coordinating resident care.

You’ll develop care plans, oversee daily activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with medical staff to maintain high-quality resident outcomes. Requires RN license and a nursing degree; BSN preferred; at least 1 year supervisory healthcare

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse RN in this state. BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of resident care, including daily activities, personal care and medical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on resident needs and preferences.
• Develop methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of resident’s total regimen of care.
• Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of resident care to ensure it meets standards and expectations.
• Address and problem solve resident care issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of resident care.
• Collaborates with the Medical Director to assure quality of care.
• Attend continuing education programs designed to keep you abreast of changes in your profession and provide leadership for in-service training for nursing personnel.
