Job summary

Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a RN Resident for Cardiac Telemetry. This program supports the transition from student to licensed registered nurse through mentored clinical practice.

The RN Resident will deliver patient care using the nursing process, complete assessments, document data, participate in discharge planning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while pursuing Florida RN licensure within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN license required within 90 days of hire.
• Certifications as required by unit/area.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating).
• Collect and document patient data to identify nursing diagnoses.
• Establish and evaluate care and discharge plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines and maintain accountability.
