Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking an RN for the Cardiac Neurology Telemetry Unit in Florida. The role involves observation, assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care, with emphasis on health teaching and prevention.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited RN program, Florida/Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS within 30 days, and at least 2 years in Telemetry or Cardiac units in an acute care hospital. Night shifts, 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited RN program.
• RN license in Florida or Compact state, or ability to obtain one.
• BSN is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Telemetry or Cardiac Units in an acute care hospital.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification within 30 days of start (training certificate pending).

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, nursing diagnosis, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; provide health teaching and counseling; promote wellness and prevention.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Work 12-hour night shifts.
