Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse Permit in Texas.
• BLS within 30 days of employment; ACLS within 1 year.
• No prior RN experience required; some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures, monitoring or functions as ordered and document.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Teach patients and families about condition, treatment plan and follow-up.

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

RN License or Graduate Nurse Permit (Texas)

BLS within 30 days

ACLS within 1 year

Other Certifications may be required
