Job summary

Dartmouth Health's SVMC in Vermont invites new graduates to join its first nationally accredited RN Residency Program. The year-long program provides structured support, mentorship and hands-on learning to ease the transition from student to professional nurse.

Residents receive a competitive compensation package with loan forgiveness up to $30,000, tuition reimbursement, certification opportunities and a clear clinical ladder. Night shifts with rotating weekends are included.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Ability to obtain Vermont State Registered Nurse licensure by date of employment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a nurse residency program to develop knowledge and skills.
• Engage in mentorship and learning opportunities during the first year of practice.
• Commit to obtaining required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) within 90 days.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing preferred.
