Parkridge Medical Center in Tennessee is offering the HCA Nurse Residency Program, a year-long paid transition from student nurse to registered nurse. You will be supported by nurse educators, experienced nurses, and peers to build clinical skills, critical thinking, and confidence.

The program focuses on advanced clinical training across specialties with monthly education, preceptorship, and evidence-based projects, fostering growth in a collaborative, patient-centered hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications expected within specified timeframes.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN/BSN).
• Caring, compliant with nursing standards and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered; document care timely.
• Administer prescribed medications; monitor response and report issues.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Teach patients and families about conditions, plans, meds, and follow-up.
