The program focuses on developing clinical judgment, communication skills and teamwork to improve patient safety, with dedicated preceptors guiding residents through a structured orientation and blended learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates eligible for the Nurse Residency program.
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective communication.
• Support ongoing professional development and safety initiatives.
