Piedmont Healthcare Inc. is launching a 12-month Nurse Residency program at Eastside Medical Center in Georgia to guide new graduates from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship and hands-on practice.

The program emphasizes clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork, with opportunities in Acute Care, Critical Care, ED, Women’s Services, and more. This is a residency designed to foster growth and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates are eligible to apply.
• Current Georgia RN license required by law.
• BLS certification required by law.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Demonstrate leadership, professional growth and accountability within organizational policies.
• Maintain standards of practice and support accurate documentation and communication.
