Job summary

CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ, offers an RN Residency for newly licensed RNs or those with less than one year of experience. The twelve-month orientation includes preceptorship, didactic and simulation experiences to build confidence to practice independently.

The program emphasizes leadership, critical thinking, and professional development, with structured curriculum and mentoring, and the option to gain experience with the Wound Care Team and Respiratory Therapy Department.

Qualifications

• Must be soon-to-be or newly licensed RN or have less than one year of working RN experience.
• Must have a BSN or ASN degree, passed the NCLEX and have a NJ RN license before the employment start date.
• Must have BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Be hired as a full-time, benefit eligible employee.
• Participate in a twelve-month RN Residency with preceptorship, didactic and simulation.
• Progressively increase clinical responsibilities under supervision.
• Float between units as RN and provide 1:1 patient observation when required.
