Job summary

UnityPoint Health – Des Moines North 6 is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night, evening, or weekend shifts in an acute inpatient unit. Eligible RNs may receive a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles.

The unit specializes in colorectal and bariatric care and fosters a culture of education, evidence-based practice, and teamwork. UnityPoint Health offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program and RN residency for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
• Newly licensed nurse or less than 12 months acute RN experience.
• Completion of residency program within the first 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a Registered Nurse per Iowa Nursing Regulations and Practice Act.
• Provide nursing care for patients and families within the ANA Code and UnityPoint Health guidelines.
• Participate in RN Residency program for newly licensed RNs.
