Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is launching a 12-month Nurse Residency program beginning October 2026 to mentor new graduates from student to professional nurse. The program blends precepted orientation with blended learning experiences to build clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork.

Residents will rotate through Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Dept, Women’s Services, and more, supported by dedicated preceptors and a strong culture focused on quality and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse and BLS certification required.

• Staff nurse provides care to patients from birth through lifespan using nursing processes.
• Coordinates patient care activities with assigned staff.
• Maintains standards of practice and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
