Job summary

Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center Brighton, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care within the Nursing department. The role emphasizes using nursing processes, coordinating care, and supporting patient education and discharge planning.

The position requires strong communication and computer skills, and requires a Massachusetts RN license with BLS certification. New graduates are welcome to apply and participate in the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Effective verbal, electronic and written communications skills using the English language.
• Computer proficiency required. Microsoft office applications preferred with ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to the philosophy and standards of the Department of Nursing.
• Utilize clinical skills to implement the nursing process with the plan of care.
• Function as a clinical resource for the patient and supervise care.
• Ensure patient education and discharge preparation.
• Collaborate with care team to achieve patient goals.
• Mentor and teach healthcare team members as needed.
