Job summary

Christian Living Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 5a-5p full-time position in the Rehabilitation Neighborhood. You will plan, organize, direct, implement, and evaluate all aspects of resident care in accordance with state and federal laws and our policies.

You will collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and families; manage medications; maintain care plans; supervise ancillary staff; and participate in resident care conferences.

Qualifications

• Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
• 1 year of long-term care facility experience preferred.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must read, write and speak English; excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident status with nursing staff, physician, and family.
• Listen to concerns and initiate corrective action.
• Attend Resident Care conferences and maintain Care Plans.
• Prepare, administer and document medications per orders.
• Document patient care issues and report them.
• Identify signs and symptoms and select appropriate treatment.
• Supervise ancillary staff and initiate corrective action.
• Other duties as assigned.
