Job summary

Community South Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, administer medications, and document care while coordinating with the team to support patient needs.

The role requires current RN licensure and a BSN/ADN or diploma, CPR/BCLS, and strong communication and advocacy skills for high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN/ADN or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care accurately and timely.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates transfer, discharge, referrals and psychosocial support needs.
• Delivers patient and family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocates for the patient’s physical and emotional well‑being.
