Job summary

Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 5a–5p shift in the Rehabilitation Neighborhood. This is a full-time role with an hourly compensation range of USD 42 to USD 50.88, reflecting experience and qualifications.

The position involves planning, directing, and evaluating all resident care in accordance with policy and law. The RN will collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, families, and other care team members; manage medication

Qualifications

• Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
• 1 year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, implement and evaluate all aspects of resident care.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and families about resident status.
• Attend Resident Care conferences; maintain Resident Care Plans.
• Prepare, administer and document medications per physician orders; replace expired meds.
• Document patient care issues and report them to appropriate personnel.
• Recognize signs and symptoms; use judgment to select appropriate treatment or procedures.
• Supervise ancillary personnel and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
