Job summary

Gateway Rehab in Florence, KY, part of Vibra Healthcare, seeks PRN Day and Night Registered Nurse Supervisors to lead nursing teams on the floor. You will oversee delivery of patient care, manage staff on the assigned shift, and ensure adherence to policies and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have an RN license, BLS certification, and prior supervisory experience. BSN and ACLS/CCRN are preferred, with a focus on high-quality, compliant patient care in a rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or AS in Nursing required.
• Current, valid RN license in state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high-quality patient care on assigned shift.
• Manage personnel, operations, and nursing activities.

We are seeking PRN Day and Night Registered Nurse Supervisors to join our team!

Hospital Details

Gateway Rehab, located in Florence, KY is a 40 bed inpatient rehab providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of efficient, high quality patient care. Responsible for personnel, management, and coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established philosophy, objectives and policies of the hospital. The supervisor works with employees and other managers to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations, and provides training, information and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.

Required Skills:

• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Three (3) years experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• CCRN preferred.
• ACLS certification for a Vibra-approved vendor preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
