Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking PRN Day and Night Registered Nurse Supervisors for Gateway Rehab in Florence, KY. You will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and coordinate shift operations in a 40-bed inpatient rehab setting.

Required are an active KY RN license and Vibra-approved BLS, with prior supervisory or acute care experience preferred. BSN and ACLS/CCR/N certifications are a plus; join a team dedicated to compassionate care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky required.
• BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Supervisory experience preferred; strong clinical leadership expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, high-quality patient care on assigned shift.
• Manage personnel and nursing service activities for the shift.
• Develop systems and procedures to support daily operations.

We are seeking PRN Day and Night Registered Nurse Supervisors to join our team!

Gateway Rehab, located in Florence, KY is a 40 bed inpatient rehab providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of efficient, high quality patient care. Responsible for personnel, management, and coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established philosophy, objectives and policies of the hospital. The supervisor works with employees and other mangers to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations, and provides training, information and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.

Required Skills

• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Three (3) years experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• CCRN preferred.
• ACLS certification for a Vibra-approved vendor preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
