Immediate need for a Full-Time Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) on overnight shifts at our Point Pleasant, PA Campus in Bucks County.

We are currently seeking an RN- Registered Nurse Supervisor to ensure the health and well-being of our individuals by overseeing nursing care at the facility; supervising nursing personnel on each unit; and performing additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing and/or Director of Nursing Services.

Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) Shift Option (12-hour shifts):

  • Night Shift (6:45 pm - 7:15 am)

Registered Nurse (RN) Status Options:

  • Full-time: 3-12 hour shifts per week, every other weekend availability, on a 4-week rotation schedule. Benefit eligible.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day tasks for Registered Nurse Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding immediately to individuals’ requests
  • Supervising nursing care services and staff on all units during shifts
  • Promoting facility safety programs
  • Potentially serving as Infection Preventionist Nurse
  • Assuming responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant or Director of Nursing

Base wages increase with experience!

Qualifications
  • Current Pennsylvania RN license and registration
  • Minimum of two years nursing experience, with at least one year in a leadership role; pediatric, hospital, or long-term care experience required
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred
  • Creative problem-solving skills and diplomatic handling of issues required
  • Effective supervision of staff and maintenance of high standards of care
  • Experience in nursing education and in-service training preferred
  • Ability to relate well to pediatric residents from birth to 21 years; respectful and caring attitude essential
  • Must be 21 years or older
