Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts - Central Campus in Rochdale, MA is seeking a Full Time Day Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. Our facility specializes in critical care for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries.

You will be responsible for the delivery of efficient, high quality patient care, supervising nursing staff during the scheduled shift, and coordinating operations with other managers. MA RN license and current BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid RN license in MA required; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• BSN preferred; CCRN preferred; 3 years acute care experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, high quality patient care across the shift.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily operations with management.
• Develop systems and provide training and support to solve problems and meet objectives.

Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. We are seeking a Full Time Day Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team!

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of efficient, high quality patient care. Responsible for personnel, management, and coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established philosophy, objectives and policies of the hospital. The supervisor works with employees and other mangers to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations, and provides training, information and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.

Required Skills

• Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Critical care experience preferred.
• Three (3) years experience in an acute care setting preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• CCRN preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
