Job summary

Ro Health in Deer Valley, AZ is seeking a licensed pediatric RN to provide 1:1 care for students during school hours. You’ll follow each student’s Plan of Care and work with school staff to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

This full-time position offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, 8 days of PTO, a 401(k), paid orientation, and ongoing clinical supervision throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• TB Test required.
• Drug screening as district requires.
• 2+ years nursing experience; pediatric interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care for students with medical needs per Plan of Care.
• Deliver care and monitor health conditions in line with care plans.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for all students.
• Keep accurate health records and documentation.
• Support health office coverage as needed.
• Administer medications and daily health supports.

Position Details

• Specialty: School Health

• Positions Available: ~8 Full-Time, Limited Part-Time Opportunities
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: School hours (typically starting between 7:30–8:30 AM and ending between 2:45-3:30PM)
• Target Start Date: Beginning of the 2026–2027 school year (July/August 2026)
• Pay Rate: $36–$42/hour
• Must be willing to travel at least 30 minutes

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care for students with medical needs (e.g., G-tube, trach, catheter, diabetes, seizures)
• Deliver care in accordance with the student’s Plan of Care
• Support a safe and inclusive environment for all students
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Assist with health office coverage as needed
• Administer medications and support daily student health needs

Requirements

• Active Arizona RN license

• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred
• Passion for pediatric care and working with students

• Seizure disorder education & Diastat administration
• Insulin administration & diabetic management
• Medication administration
• G-tube feedings & tracheostomy care
• Ongoing mentorship and support from a dedicated Clinical Supervisor

Physical Demands

This role involves regular communication with students and staff, as well as standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs), bending, and crouching may be required. Reasonable accommodations can be made as needed.
