Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital at Hendrick Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a direct hire, full-time opportunity in a specialized LTAC setting.

You will provide direct nursing care to medically complex patients, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, monitor progress, and educate patients and families while maintaining compliance with standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and a focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document findings.
• Educate patients and families and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
