Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, competent care for patients in accordance with facility policies and nursing care philosophy. The RN will deliver professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, upholding patient-centered care and service excellence.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold Texas nursing licensure, and maintain BLS; ACLS, PALS, TNCC and ENPC are preferred within specified

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Texas nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and ENPC certifications as required.
• Handle with Care training within timelines; de-escalation training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and philosophy.
• Lead and support the healthcare team with patient-centered care.
• Develop, implement and evaluate age-appropriate care plans.
• Maintain safety and comply with standards; assess risks to patient safety.
• Contribute to service excellence and professional development.
