Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s).
• BLS from the American Heart Association and maintain certification.
• Current Texas nursing license or permit to practice nursing.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire; maintenance not required.
• Ongoing compliance with demonstrated clinically pertinent competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients following facility policies and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates an age-appropriate care plan using nursing process and patient education.
