As a RN Registered Nurse OR Service Line Coordinator with HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back. Our Surgical Service teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking an experienced and professional Certified Surgical Tech to become our Coordinator of OR Service Line Technologist. You will assist in leading our team of OR Techs to ensure Surgical Services run smoothly and create positive patient interactions.
Responsibilities
- You will perform ongoing assessments of the patient’s physical condition and nursing needs.
- You will develop, implement and communicate her/your plan of care with the patient.
- You will set goals and make appropriate actions.
- You will work with physicians and the healthcare team to determine patient needs.
- You will assist with training of new team members.
- You will work with Directors to troubleshoot OR metrics related to the service line.
- You will coordinate service line workflow.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Surgical Tech program.
- Minimum 2 years in a surgical services department.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- CNOR preferred within 1 year of hire/transfer.
- Knowledge of Scrub and Circulate responsibilities, scheduling, and critical thinking skills a must.
