Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola is seeking a CT technologist to perform computed tomography exams and post-processing for physician and radiologist interpretation.

The role requires ARRT radiography registration or registry-eligible status, completion of CT registry within 18 months, and NMTCB registry within three months. Weekend shift with evening differential and sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT Radiography Program.
• Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within three (3) months of employment.
• Must pass the CT ARRT registry within 18 months of employment.
• Must pass NMTCB registry within three (3) months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams and post-processing for physician and radiologist use.
• Plan and perform CT procedures and post-processing using established protocols.
• Adhere to clinical criteria, anatomy, and safety standards during imaging.

Evening Shift Differential: $2.00/hour + 10.00/hour weekend incentive

Hours: 3:00p - 7:30a (Friday/Saturday), 3:00p - 11:30p (Sunday)

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Through departmental established duties and responsibilities, perform high-quality computed tomography exams and procedures for use by physicians and radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Plans and performs all CT procedures and post processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy and established protocols.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)

• Must be registered or registry eligible by one of the following accrediting bodies: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Program or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Program (NMTCB)
• Graduate of ARRT Radiography Program Graduate
• Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within three (3) months of employment
• Must pass the CT ARRT registry within 18 months of employment
• Must pass NMTCB registry within three (3) months of employment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S)

• CT experience preferred.
