Job summary

WeCare Centers in Wellsboro, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the night shift on weekends to lead the nursing team and oversee patient care. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality care and staff guidance in a small community setting.

The RN will ensure safe practices, proper documentation, and effective communication with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team, while collaborating with leadership to uphold FBH policies and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Valid PA RN license is required.
• Experience as RN in acute or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leadership, support and guidance for nursing staff.
• Monitor nursing staff performance and ensure FBH policies are followed in collaboration with DON/Human Resources.
• Ensure safe environment and proper techniques are used by nursing staff.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed by nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high quality care.
• Participate in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Complete nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.
• Monitor direct care and conduct audits to maintain high quality nursing care.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Job Duties

• Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.
• Maintaining nursing staff job performance through multiple intervention practices in close collaboration with Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources or Facility Administrator, as needed. Ensure FBH policies are being followed.
• Ensuring nursing staff are providing a safe, healthy environment and utilizing proper techniques and approaches.
• Ensuring proper documentation is being completed by nursing staff.
• Effectively communicating with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to provide a high quality of care.
• Participating in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Completing nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.
• Ensures continued delivery of high quality nursing care by monitoring direct care and conducting audits.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications
