WeCare at Jameson Center in New Castle, PA is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead our nursing team and deliver excellent patient care.

The role requires strong leadership, clinical oversight, and collaboration with the Director of Nursing and other leaders to maintain safety, documentation, and compliance while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the State of PA.
• Previous experience as a RN in acute care / long term care setting is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support nursing staff with leadership, guidance and role-modeling.
• Maintain nursing staff performance through interventions with DON/HR/Administrator and ensure FBH policies are followed.
• Ensure a safe, healthy environment and proper techniques are used by nursing staff.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed by nursing staff.
• Communicate with residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary teams to maintain high quality care.
• Participate in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Conduct nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education and supervision.
• Monitor direct care and conduct audits to sustain high-quality nursing care.
• Take on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Job Duties

• Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.
• Maintaining nursing staff job performance through multiple intervention practices in close collaboration with Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources or Facility Administrator, as needed. Ensure FBH policies are being followed.
• Ensuring nursing staff are providing a safe, healthy environment and utilizing proper techniques and approaches.
• Ensuring proper documentation is being completed by nursing staff.
• Effectively communicating with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to provide a high quality of care.
• Participating in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.
• Completing nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.
• Ensures continued delivery of high quality nursing care by monitoring direct care and conducting audits.
• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
