Job summary

WeCare Centers in Waynesburg, PA is seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff during the 7p-7a shift. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered. Join a team that emphasizes teamwork, work-life balance, and compassionate care to residents at our Rolling Meadows Center.

You will provide top-quality patient care, oversee medical treatments, and support our healthcare team in delivering excellence while maintaining proper documentation and coordinating with the DON and interdisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Valid PA RN license required.
• Experience as RN in acute/long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support and guidance to nursing staff.
• Supervise nursing staff performance and ensure FBH policies are followed.
• Maintain safe, healthy environment and proper techniques by staff.
• Ensure proper documentation by nursing staff.
• Communicate with Residents, families, vendors and inter-disciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Participate in compliance and quality improvement committees and audits.
• Conduct nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education and supervision.
• Monitor direct care and conduct audits to maintain high-quality care.
• Take on-call duties with Nursing Leadership staff.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Job Duties

• Serve as a professional role model by providing leadership, support and guidance.

• Maintaining nursing staff job performance through multiple intervention practices in close collaboration with Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources or Facility Administrator, as needed. Ensure FBH policies are being followed.

• Ensuring nursing staff are providing a safe, healthy environment and utilizing proper techniques and approaches.

• Ensuring proper documentation is being completed by nursing staff.

• Effectively communicating with Residents, families, vendors and interdisciplinary team to provide a high quality of care.

• Participating in compliance and quality improvement committees, audits and processes.

• Completing nursing staff evaluations, coaching, education, and supervision.

• Ensures continued delivery of high quality nursing care by monitoring direct care and conducting audits.

• Assume on-call duties with other Nursing Leadership Staff.

• Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a RN in acute care / long term care setting is preferred
