Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct nursing care in the Birth Suites (LDRP) at UAB St Vincent's Birmingham.

You will implement and monitor care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary team, and manage orders; weekend nights 7pm–7am. The role requires BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 180 days, and Alabama RN licensure; benefits include PTO and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 180 days of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing at time of hire.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.
