Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current BLS CPR certification required.
• Experience with G-tube, trach, and vents preferred or willing to train.
• Must complete required TB tests and Alzheimer’s training.

Responsibilities

• Administer physician-ordered treatments including tracheostomy and feeding tube care.
• Conduct seizure assessments and treatment.
• Provide one-on-one care autonomously.

Responsibilities of Registered Nurses (RNs)

• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Registered Nurses (RNs)

• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
