Job summary

Harborview Medical Center’s OBOT program is seeking a Registered Nurse – Care Manager (RN2) to provide skilled nursing services to adults with opioid use disorder in hospital and clinic settings. The role involves assessment, triage, teaching, induction and stabilization, and coordination with addiction, mental health, and primary care teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Washington RN license, have 2+ years in psych/addiction or care management, and are committed to improving outcomes for people

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years RN experience in psych, addiction, or care management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing services to hospitalized patients with opioid use disorder and their support systems.
  • Assess, admit, evaluate, triage, teach, and monitor patients on the Addiction Consult Service.
  • Collaborate with team members and outside referral sites, primary care providers, and addiction/mental health programs to support referrals.

Job DescriptionHarborview Medical Center’s (HMC) HMHAS – Office Based Opioid Treatment Program (OBOT) has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse – Care Manager (RN2) position.WORK SCHEDULEFull-time, 100% FTE, 40 hours per weekDays, M-F 8:00am - 4:30pmDEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:The program offers medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) to adults with opioid use disorder in primary care medical clinics, mental health and addictions programs, and hospital settings.
