Job summary

Raintree Village of Lee's Summit is seeking a dedicated RN to join our team. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care for residents and communicates effectively with families, physicians and the care team.

We offer 4, 8 and 12 hour shifts, full-time (30+ hours per week) and part-time roles, plus a benefits package including health, dental and vision plans, 401(k), PTO and performance bonuses to support a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license and provide comprehensive nursing care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and physicians.
• Adhere to Federal, State and Company requirements based on acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care based on acuity and regulations.
• Make daily rounds to assess residents' condition and comfort.
• Follow safety policies to ensure resident safety.
• Follow infection control guidelines.
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
• Assess and evaluate changes in resident condition and intervene.
• Communicate with physicians as needed and hand off on shift.
• Supervise direct care staff and ensure tasks are completed.

Role

We are seeking a dedicated RN - Registered Nurse to join our team! The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the Community, as well as effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on acuity of residents
• Make daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the resident’s condition and comfort
• Follow safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety
• Follows infection control guidelines
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection
• Assess and evaluate resident change of condition and institute appropriate interventions
• Communicate with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow through; maintain hand-off communications with oncoming shift regarding resident care needs.
• Oversees direct care staff and ensures staff complete tasks and cares as assigned.
• Speak, read and write the English language in an understandable manner.
• Ability to apply principles of basic general math.
