AdventHealth in Winter Park, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role at the Winter Park campus. The position offers day, night and PRN shifts with a 24-hour schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Eligible clinicians may advance via the Clinical Ladder program with salary adjustments based on experience and achievement. Required RN license and BLS, with Associate's degree at minimum and a preference for a Bachelor's.

Formación

• RN must be licensed in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of the patient, evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and ancillary departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions and outcomes.

Job Description:

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.

• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG competency
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills)
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs
• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ acute care hospital setting- MedSurge, PCU and ICU [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

$31.85 - $52.76
