Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the East Orlando campus. The position offers day shifts and full-time hours with the Clinical Ladder program allowing salary increases up to 20% based on experience, development, and advancement criteria.

Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

• RN license and BLS certification required.
• 1+ years acute care hospital experience (PCU level) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Pay Range:

$33.08 - $58.04
