AdventHealth in Winter Park, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in a full-time, day-shift role. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with licensure as an RN; Bachelor's degree is preferred. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred.
• 1+ years acute care hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Pay Range:

$32.76 - $57.47
