Job summary

Gundersen Hillsboro is seeking an Emergency Services RN for a casual (PRN) role in a fast-paced emergency department. You will evaluate patients, plan and implement care, and document responses to care in a high-acuity setting.

This position offers casual incentive pay and competitive hourly compensation based on experience. Required qualifications include an Associate degree in Nursing, 2+ years in an Emergency department, valid Wisconsin RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• 2+ years in an Emergency department setting is required.
• Wisconsin RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC for Health Care Providers certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, families, and health care professionals to develop patient-centered plans of care.
• Provide competent and innovative patient care and education based on acuity and nursing judgment.
• Document assessments, interventions, implementation, and patient or family response.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise plans of care as needed.
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate tasks performed by Techs within scope and policy.
