Gundersen Health System is seeking a Clinic Float Pool RN in La Crosse, WI. You will float across multiple ambulatory departments, delivering evidence-based nursing care and handling phone triage, MyChart communications, and medication refills.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with no weekends or on-call obligations. Starting pay is $31.98/hour plus a $2.50/hour float pool differential, with growth opportunities and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license in Wisconsin on hire.
• RN license in Minnesota and Iowa within 3 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care across ambulatory departments.
• Support patients via phone triage, MyChart messages, and refills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for smooth operations.
• Adapt to daily department assignments based on needs.
• Provide occasional procedures as required.

Float Pool nurses are deployed to departments that need immediate staffing support to help teams maintain seamless operations and uninterrupted patient care. Expect meaningful variety, flexibility, and learning across specialties.
