Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac unit at St. Joseph's Hospital. The RN will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and support precepting and charge responsibilities.

Qualifications include BLS and RN license; ACLS/NIHSS/PCCN preferred; ADN required and BSN preferred. Shift is days (6:45 AM–7:15 PM); weekends every other; on-call is No.

Qualifications

• ADN/ASSOCIATE degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS Certification required and RN license in good standing.
• ACLS/NIHSS/PCCN certifications preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Individually care for a patient group using the nursing process and standards.

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Cardiac team at St. Joseph’s Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness. The unit is a cardiac PCU unit for congestive heart failure patients.

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
