Job summary

Waterview Health & Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team in Hampton, VA. The RN will oversee nursing staff, administer medications, and coordinate resident care in a long-term and rehab setting.

We offer shifts including 11p-7a, 3p-11p, and 7a-3p with part-time and full-time options. New grads welcome. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, shift differentials, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in VA.
• New Grads must provide ATT or letter to test.
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent decision-making skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team of nursing staff.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
• Supervise and support a team of LPNs and CNAs to deliver optimal care.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
• Educate residents and their families on health management, conditions, and treatments.
• Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and facility-specific regulations and standards.
• Respond to emergencies, assess situations, and provide critical care as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the facility’s continuous improvement efforts.
