Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, OH, is hiring a Registered Nurse for gastroenterology. The position supports patient care using the Nursing Process within organizational standards, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm day shift.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and preferably 1 year of medical office experience, working within a team to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of medical office experience preferred.
• Strong ability to coordinate patient care and supervise staff.

Position Purpose

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Registered Nurse will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
• Experience: One year experience in a medical office preferred
• Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team
• Demonstrates skills and abilities in clinical and administrative areas
• Ability to work with limited supervision and to make decisions based on established policies and procedures
