Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, OH seeks a Registered Nurse for the Heart and Vascular specialty. You will liaise with Cardiology physicians and the care team, educate patients and families, and manage care using the Nursing Process within organizational guidelines.

Two years of RN experience is required; Ohio RN licensure is mandatory. Relocation assistance and tuition programs are available for eligible staff, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Experience: Two years RN experience required; one year in a medical office or Cardiology specialty preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and manage patient care and supervise others.

Position Purpose:

• The Registered Nurse Specialty positions are responsible for care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritualneeds within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.
• Specialty: Heart and Vascular
• Location: 5300 N Meadows Dr, #280, Grove City, OH 43123
• Hours of office: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
  

What You Will Do:

• Performs as liaison between Cardiologyphysicians, nurses, patients, families and other treating disciplines.
• Educates and instructs patients/families on continuity of care, procedures and/ or medications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensure / Certification: In good standing with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
• Experience: Two years RN experience required; one year experience in a medical office or in Cardiology Specialty preferred
• Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team
