Job summary

Complete Care at Oak Ridge in Charleston, WV is hiring an RN Registered Nurse (Direct Care) to provide skilled nursing services to residents recently discharged from hospital and those requiring long-term care.

You will administer medications, perform wound care, monitor health status and collaborate with physicians, therapists and social workers to deliver individualized care while supporting families and residents through education and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the State of West Virginia as a RN Registered Nurse.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation.
• Professionally & Clinically Skilled with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications
• Treatments: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings
• Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct health assessments, track changes & analyze data
• Care Planning: Create, update & execute individualized care
• Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others
• Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care
• Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions
• Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate to LPNs and CNAs ensuring quality care/teamwork
