SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The RN Attending Nurse will provide direct patient care, administer medications, educate, collaborate, and counsel patients and families. The Registered Nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families. The Attending RN will serve as the professional nurse by assessing, planning, directing, practicing and evaluating patient care in a designated group practice. This position will coordinate expert care for patients seeking reproductive endocrinology, women?s health, cardiology, and pediatric services. Provides professional nursing care to patients and their families following established standards and practices. Serves as a resource for other clinical staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Two (2) years of RN experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • BSN preferred
