This role handles inquiry and transfer calls, liaises with referral sources, physicians, and hospital staff, and ensures accurate data entry and timely processing of referrals.

The position requires strong communication skills, EMTALA knowledge, and the ability to navigate hospital systems. Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with opportunities for growth within the network.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating referrals and transfers in a hospital setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff and external sources.
• Familiarity with hospital policies, EMTALA regulations and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Process inquiry and referral calls in a timely manner.
• Serve as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and Admissions staff.
• Enter call data into the facility database and manage e-fax applications.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures regarding referral management.
