Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

The role requires a GA RN license in good standing and BLS certification, with BSN preferred and two years of RN experience; additional certifications such as ACLS/PALS/NRP may be considered.

Work hours are 7am–5pm with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Must graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as an RN.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Complies with Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Participates in patient assessment, planning, and evaluation to support quality care.
• Collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
