The University of Vermont Health Network CVMC - Quality in Berlin, Vermont seeks a Quality Improvement Consultant to partner with leadership. The role focuses on developing and monitoring clinical and operational systems improvements that advance high reliability and accreditation readiness.

You will apply systems analysis and quality tools to optimize workflows, lead change initiatives, and drive measurable outcomes across hospital and ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• State of Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BSN required.
• MSN preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare environment and experience with interpretation and evaluation of accreditation standards is preferred.
• Five years or more of increasing responsibility in systems, quality, or health care administration.
• Demonstrated management ability—strong communication/presentation skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff and management.
• Previous experience with JC/regulatory agency preparation, coordination, education and surveys for hospitals, physician office practices, home health care and free-standing ambulatory surgery settings.
• Previous experience with electronic document management systems (desirable)

Responsabilités

• The Quality Improvement Consultant develops, implements and monitors clinical and operational systems improvement projects aligned with the organizations strategic priorities to succeed as a High Reliability Organization.
• Provides expertise in systems analysis, performance optimization, risk reduction and accreditation compliance.
• Uses quality management tools to analyze workflows, plan and implement projects, and recommend improvements.
• Acts as a change agent to achieve identified outcomes and enhance system performance.
