Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an experienced Quality Improvement Specialist (RN) to lead clinical quality initiatives. You will analyze workflows, implement evidence-based improvements, and track performance against HEDIS and CAHPS goals.

Collaboration with POSC stakeholders will advance initiatives and ensure patient safety and high-quality care. The role requires 5–7 years in related fields, BSN, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in clinical, case management, administrative, quality or HEDIS roles.
• In-depth knowledge of managed care quality, HEDIS and STARs measures.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and analytic skills.
• Working knowledge of quantitative/qualitative data analytics.
• Working knowledge of clinical and practice requirements essential to meet patient care needs.
• Ability to deal tactfully with customers and community.
• Ability to manage sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
• Ability to consider costs and benefits of actions.
• Ability to work in diverse clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements quality improvement programs and initiatives to monitor and improve healthcare services and processes.
• Drives evidence-based performance improvement interventions and tracks process/outcome measures.
• Manages and coordinates workplans for POSC workgroups and facilitates meetings.
• Contributes to improving patient outcomes and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Contributes to development and revision of policies and guidelines to improve system performance.
