Job summary

HSCS is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in Texas to provide direct patient care and oversee unit staffing under the Chief Nurse Executive. The role involves assessment, planning, intervention, and documentation for patients across hospital settings.

You will coordinate care, supervise staff as needed, and collaborate with Nurse Coordinators to ensure 24-hour continuity of care. Flexibility in shifts and adherence to safety policies are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of RN experience in a recognized health agency or hospital.
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Texas (or reciprocity).

Responsibilities

• Assess health/mental status on admission and transfer; document care plans.
• Provide direct nursing care to individual patients as needed.
• Coordinate staffing and patient care activities on assigned units.
• Facilitate admissions/transfer processes and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in mandatory training and uphold patient safety standards.
