Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas or a compact state.
• Experience in health care settings such as hospitals or state facilities preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive physical health assessments.
• Responds to medical emergencies and provides care and treatment.
• Educates and trains staff; serves as a preceptor to new nurses.
• Oversees nursing staff; delegates tasks and reviews activities.
• Maintains emergency equipment and participates in drills.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care.
